During the Pontiac community radio’s annual general meeting, which was held Thursday evening, the achievements of CHIP 101.9 during 2018-2019 were highlighted.
On site, the mayor of Mansfield-et-Pontefract, Gilles Dionne presented, on behalf of his municipality, a certificate of appreciation to the CHIP team for the role they played in informing the public during the 2019 spring floods and its involvement in the community.
Also during the annual general meeting, the Pontiac community radio station highlighted the years of service of three employees: the host Nathalie Vasiloff, celebrating 30 years of service; Nathalie Denault, who has worked at the station for 15 years; as well as Marie Gionet, who joined the CHIP 101.9 team 10 years ago, first as a part-time weekend employee and then as a full-time employee.
For the next year, the CHIP 101.9 board of directors will be composed of Diane Grenier, David Gillespie, Sylvain Fortin, Sabrina Lafontaine, Yvette Mellon (administrator), Patrys Brown and Annie Lacharité. Copies of the activity report for 2018-2019 are available at the radio office.
