Like every day, the Municipality of Mansfield-et-Pontefract has been monitoring the flooding situation. The situation is still worrying in several places.

“Please do not use the affected roads to go and confirm the situation. This is unsafe, may damage affected properties and increases the stress on those affected. If you find yourself in immediate danger, please do not hesitate to call 9-1-1. Please note that we are awaiting an update on the situation from the CPRRO and the MSP every night which may change all this information”, said the municipality.

Here is the data that was made public by the Municipality of Mansfield around 8:30 a.m. Saturday (April 22).

Flow: 442 m3/s

Level at Pont Blanc: 109.53 M

Our roads are currently passable but some will need repairs. Signs remain up until the rain and its effects pass.

Forecast: The flow and level are still down since yesterday but according to Evolugen the flow could go back to the level we received this week. (But a lot of uncertainties about the rain to come in the weekend)

Currently a few homes affected and a few others at imminent risk. Several
cottages are flooded or almost.

Roads flooded and closed: Léonard, Félix, Thomas-Lefebvre (Do not pass through the barricades, the shoulder is suffering considerable damage, the danger of collapse is very present)

Forecasts of 108.15M for tomorrow.
