Man critically injured in ATV accident in Alleyn-et-Cawood

A 70-year-old man was critically injured following an ATV accident in Pontiac Saturday night.

Emergency crews were called to chemin Richard in Alleyn-et-Cawood at around 9 p.m. on May 3 after the man driving the ATV struck a tree, according to preliminary information. Police say that the victim was not wearing a helmet at the time of the collision and was transported to hospital with critical injuries.

The investigation into the crash is ongoing.
