Malfunctioning heat system interrupts radio bingo

Last evening (October 15) at around 7:30 p.m. a malfunctioning heating system at the station caused some alarm and interrupted CHIP 101.9’s bingo.

Emergency crews were called after an employee smelling something burning and saw smoke coming from the ceiling of the conference room. The office was not damaged and firefighters determined the cause of the smoke was a short in the station’s heating system.

The remainder of this week’s bingo will be played at 7 p.m. on Monday (October 21).
