A study by the University of North Carolina says climate change may increase the risk of Lyme disease.

According to the study, global warming would have an impact on the ticks natural environment, in order to allow these insects to survive and progress more and more towards the north.

Lyme disease continues to progress in Quebec, while a record number of 415 cases of the disease were identified throughout Quebec in 2019.

Note that the Pontiac has been identified as a sector at risk.
