Litchfield: New access road to Chemin Laforert finished

The new access to Laforest road from highway 148, in the municipality of Litchfield, the road leading in to Campbell’s Bay, was opened last week under the name Keon rd. In an interview with the Mayor of the municipality of Litchfield, Colleen Larivière, she explained the reason for the change.

According to Larivière, the relocation of the intersection has be requested for several years by residents of the municipality.

The demolition of the old intersection started at the beginning of the week. Signs have been set up to direct motorists to the new access. More details are available in the full interview with Mayor Colleen Larivière here.
