The Litchfield municipal Council sent out a report from the Council to its citizens this week. The report included the municipalities’ 2019 budget. This year, the municipality’s largest expense is a sum of $ 478,440 for maintaining and repairing its municipal roads. The total budget for the Municipality of Litchfield in 2019 is $ 1,289,659.
It should be noted that the municipality is also working with the Ministry of Public Security to implement an emergency action plan for the entire municipal territory. This plan of action includes procedures and systems, in the event of an emergency or natural disaster.
