Yesterday in the municipality of L’Isle-aux-Allumettes, a meeting was held for the victims of the 2019 floods. The Warden of the MRC Pontiac, Jane Toller, said that she feels that cottage owners should also receive financial assistance and that not helping them is a form of discrimination.
Maurice Léger, from Ottawa, said he hopes that in the future, more focus will be given to long-term solutions.
