L’Ile-du-Grand-Calumet will have a new Director General
L’Ile-du-Grand-Calumet will have a new management, it is Ms. Élaine Déry, who previously held the same position in the municipality of Sheenboro.
Extract from the draft of the meeting of February 8
Considering the selection interviews carried out by the selection committee;
Considering that an application stood out and meets the requirements of the position;
Considering that the position is currently occupied by interim;
Consequently, Councilor Mona Donnelly, seconded by Councilor Mario Bérard, proposes and it is unanimously resolved to appoint Mrs. Élaine Déry to Director General and as secretary of the municipality. Ms. Déry’s working conditions will be those provided for in the employment agreement for employees of the municipality, unless there is a specific agreement. The annual hire salary will be $ 56,000. It is also resolved that Ms. Déry join the ADMQ for the purpose of continuing education and professional networking with other municipal general managers.
The municipality has seen six different general directorates succeed one another since the fall of 2017. Lisa Boisvert, Paul Langlois, Sabrina Larivière, Tracey Hérault Cameron, Sylvain Bégin and the current interim director Mario Boyer have followed one another.
