L’Île-du-Grand-Calumet pays tribute to its director Sylvain Bégin

The municipality of Île-du-Grand-Calumet issued a press release today to pay tribute to their director general Sylvain Bégin, who died in a motorcycle accident last Saturday (September 19).

We are in shock … We are speechless … But we enjoyed the
time that Sylvain devoted to us. His joy of living and his dynamism that he gave us
brought will remain etched in our memories. He liked a challenge and he was ready. The loss is
heavy, but its presence will remain engraved forever.

“The book of life is the supreme book which cannot be closed or opened to one’s
choice. We would like to go back to the page we like, and the sorrow page is already under
our fingers.”
