“Les Chemins d’Eau”, the first tourist route in the region now open to the public

The tourist route “Les Chemins d’Eau”, which runs through the region from east to west, is now open to the public.

Visitors will be able to take the 278 kilometer long route through the Pontiac, Papineau, Collines-de-l’Outaouais MRCs and Gatineau to discover the cultural and natural heritage of the Outaouais region. The Director General of Tourism Outaouais France Bélisle says that the route is marked by blue sings and that it took 5 years to make it a tourism route:

Blue signs and information kiosks presenting the richness of the region are being installed along the side of the tourism route.
