Legalization of Cannabis: Pontiac laws undetermined

The MRC Pontiac’s regulations regarding cannabis consumption has not yet been determined. It was mentioned at the last Council of Mayors, which was held on the same day as the legalisation of cannabis, October 17th, that the MRC will be working in collaboration with the Sûreté du Québec (SQ) to decide laws on consumption in the Pontiac. The Warden of the MRC, Jane Toller, gave some details:

Toller added that she hopes cannabis consumption laws will be put in place as soon as possible. The council of Mayors agreed that the rules put in place will apply unanimously throughout the MRC Pontiac.
