L’École des Petit-Ponts prepares to welcome new students
With school returning in the coming days, the Hauts-Bois-de-l’Outaouais Service Centre is preparing to welcome new students to the various facilities of l’École des Petit-Ponts. The development agent for the first school transition, France Lavoie, said that parents have received information and schedules regarding the start of the year.
“Parents should have received everything, otherwise they can contact us directly, everything is ready. We have all our teachers and even if the instructions change, we have everything we need to start the year,” Lavoie said (translated).
To ease the transition for four-year old students and kindergarteners, parents are invited to participate in an activity on school bus safety.
“Your child can take a short bus tour with their parents and learn the rules before, during and after boarding,” she said (translated). Wearing a mask is mandatory for adults.
Here are the dates for these activities:
Tuesday, August 24 from 6 p.m. to 7 p.m.
Pavillon Notre-Dame du Sacré-Coeur
89 chemin Pembroke, Isle-Aux-Allumettes
Wednesday, August 25 from 6 p.m. to 7 p.m.
Pavillon St-Pierre
33, rue Romain Fort-Coulonge
