Le Droit newspaper reported this morning that a Pontiac resident, Daniel Houle, held sexually charged words at the Campbell’s Bay courthouse last Tuesday.

According to Louis-Denis Ébacher of Le Droit newspaper, Daniel Houle, 47, was undergoing a bail hearing for a breaking and entering, death threats, armed assault and robbery in a Shawville case. During the hearing, Daniel Houle would have even called the prosecutor, Simon Pelletier, “Cave” (idiot).

Daniel Houle apologized, yesterday, for the remarks. The 47-year-old let out another verbal insult while the prosecutor listed his criminal record. Daniel Houle apologized and asked that his bail be approved.

The judge refused his release. Daniel Houle now must appear in court to defend himself from threats charges and intimidation against an officer of the Law.
