Launch of the 2026 School Perseverance Days

From February 16 to 20, 2026, the 22nd edition of the School Perseverance Days (JPS) invites all Quebecers to celebrate the efforts and achievements of learners and individuals in training under the theme: “Perseverance Takes You Far.” The campaign aims to encourage both young people and adults to continue their educational journey by highlighting the importance of ongoing support and commitment.

Program Highlights:

February 18 – Webinar titled “Supporting School Perseverance… One Small Step at a Time,” designed to help parents motivate their children.

February 19 – PerséVERT Thursday: The public is encouraged to wear a touch of green to show support for school perseverance. The campaign will also take part in the Salon du livre de l’Outaouais, featuring a roundtable organized by Centraide Outaouais on reading as a key ally in student success.

February 22 – The 2026 “Superheroes of Perseverance” game hosted by the Gatineau Olympiques at the Slush Puppie Centre, with tickets to be won through the contest “Who Are the 2026 Persevering Youth of the Outaouais?”

The campaign also includes the podcast series “Trace Your Dreams, Chart Your Path,” youth vox pop interviews, as well as a digital toolkit and activity guide to help share campaign visuals and promote perseverance in schools, workplaces, and on social media using the hashtags #jpsoutaouais and #jps2026.

Success is built step by step, and every gesture of encouragement helps ensure that perseverance truly leads far.
