Larry Pleau, Darcy Bélair and Léonard Laroche receive medal from the National Assembly
Three firefighters from the Mansfield-et-Pontefract department were lauded for their service with medals from the National Assembly, presented by Pontiac MNA André Fortin. Larry Pleau, Darcy Bélair and Léonard Laroche have each put in more than 40 years with the service.
Laroche was the founding chief of the brigade. Pleau and Bélair each have 42 years with the department. CHIP 101.9 will be speaking shortly with current Chief Patrick Bertrand about the three men’s contribution to the community.
