The BASE will hold the second edition of its golf tournament in Gatineau
Following the success of its first edition, the Banque Alimentaire Services Entraide (BASE) announces the return of its golf tournament, an event that combines fun, networking, and community engagement in support of an essential cause.
This second edition, organized in collaboration with several partners, aims to further mobilize the business community and local residents to support individuals and families in vulnerable situations.
For the 2026 edition, the honorary presidency will be held by Julie Moffatt, President and CEO of Les Grands Feux du Casino Lac-Leamy. Recognized for her leadership and community involvement, she highlights the importance of BASE’s mission, which serves a growing population in need.
According to her, this tournament represents a true collective effort where engagement is transformed into concrete and lasting actions for the benefit of the community.
The event will take place on Tuesday, June 16th, 2026, at the Club de golf Château Cartier in Gatineau. The day will begin with participant registration at 10:30 a.m., followed by a shotgun start at noon. A cocktail reception is scheduled for 5 p.m., followed by dinner at 6 p.m., allowing guests to continue networking into the evening.
Organizers are inviting participants to register now, whether for the full tournament or for the dinner only. It is also possible to support the event through donations or by becoming a partner, with several sponsorship packages available for businesses wishing to get involved.
With this second edition, BASE hopes to build on the event’s success and further strengthen its impact on the thousands of people it supports each year.
