JOB OFFER – LE JARDIN ÉDUCATIF DU PONTIAC – SUMMER CAMP COUNSELLOR

Le Jardin Éducatif du Pontiac

offers a day camp for teenagers,

focused on ecological market gardening.

NATURE OF THE WORK

– Accompany and supervise a group of about ten young people aged 12 to 17.

– Lead and actively participate in recreational, psychosocial and market gardening activities.

– Work in collaboration with social workers in the area.

REQUIREMENTS:

– Be a student in a field such as teaching, psychoeducation, social work, kinesiology, special education… and/or

– Have experience in animating, intervention, and crisis management with youth in difficulty.

SKILLS AND KNOWLEDGE REQUIRED:

– Bilingualism.

– Ability to work in a team and independently.

– Ability to work in a group setting and with youth aged 12 to 17 years old and serve as a role model.

– Organizational skills and responsibility.

– Knowledge of the environment and vegetable production are assets.

Employment Requirements:

– Must be 18 years of age or older.

– Be a student or non-student with experience or training in the field.

– Start date, to be determined. Latest start date, June 26 until August 18, 2023: 35 hours/week.

– Salary according to experience and qualifications.

– Have no legal impediments related to the job.
