La Maison des Collines is a 6-bed palliative care home located in a picturesque setting in nature and close to the city of Gatineau. We offer multidisciplinary professional care and services. We offer free, high-quality palliative and wellness care to people living with an incurable disease and support their loved ones. We welcome people from all walks of life, regardless of their social condition, ethnic origin, sexual orientation, gender identity or religious beliefs, in a respectful and compassionate manner.
Profile Required
• Empathy, respect and compassion for patients and their families, as well as for colleagues;
• Ability to communicate honestly, openly and effectively
• Ability to collaborate within a multidisciplinary team;
• Positive attitude;
• Basic knowledge of and respect for the values and preferences of each patient/family without judgment or restriction;
• Excellent judgment, critical thinking skills, responsibility and initiative;
• French and functional English required, both oral and written.
