Jérôme Hérault’s disappearance: Quebec Provincial Police appeal to the public

The Sûreté du Québec (SQ) of the Pontiac MRC is asking for the public’s help in locating 66-year-old Jérôme Hérault of Mansfield-et-Pontefract, who has been missing since June 19th, 2026. Mr. Hérault reportedly left his home that morning on an ATV, accompanied by his dog, heading for a wooded area. He has not been seen since, and his family is concerned for his health and safety.

Mr. Hérault is 1.70 m (5 ft 7 in) tall, weighs approximately 104 kg (230 lb), and has grey hair and blue eyes. At the time of his disappearance, he was wearing a black and purple ATV helmet and a black and red jacket.

Authorities are asking anyone who sees him to contact 911 immediately. Any information that could help find him can also be transmitted, confidentially, to the Sûreté du Québec’s Criminal Information Centre at 1-800-659-4264.
