Jane Toller announces the return of the MRC’s youth council

In a public address before the holidays, the Warden of the MRC Pontiac Jane Toller announced that the MRC Pontiac’s Youth Council will return and hold its inaugural meeting on Monday, January 16.

“I am also very pleased to announce that the new MRC Pontiac Youth Council will hold its inaugural meeting on Monday, January 16 at 6:30 p.m. in the Elsie Gibbons room of the MRC office in Campbell’s Bay. We are delighted to have 22 interested youth board members this term and we’re expecting that number to grow to at least 25. We hope to recruit a few more representatives from DWKS in Chapeau and ESSC in Mansfield. If you know of any students 16 or younger in these areas who would be interested in being part of this very important council, I ask that you encourage them to contact me directly at 819-647-8198,” said Warden Jane Toller.
