Bill 40 amending school governance across Quebec is still receiving attention in the education community. Even if the English school boards did not see the elimination of the school commissioners, unlike the French school boards, the President of the Western Quebec School Board, Alain Guy deplored the fact that the French school boards now lose commissioners who have been democratically elected by the people.
