Interruption of service at the Shawville Hospital

Another interruption of service occurred over the weekend with the Obstetrics Department at Shawville Hospital. Potential patients were called last Friday to be notified of this situation.
The MNA for Pontiac and Official Opposition Critic Health, André Fortin, told CHIP 101.9 that he is still waiting for a real plan to deal with the reality of the lack of staff.

Fortin also mentioned the stress that a break in service can cause to the women who are expecting in the region
