Information Session on Alzheimer’s Disease Offered to Caregivers in Shawville

The Centre de ressources Connexions will hold an information session on Alzheimer’s disease for caregivers and families of individuals living with a neurocognitive disorder.

The presentation will be led by Andrée-Michelle Cormier of the Société Alzheimer Outaouais, who will share practical advice and strategies tailored to the realities faced by caregivers.

The conference will take place on Monday, March 23, from 6:00 p.m. to 7:30 p.m., at the CHSLD du Pontiac (CAP), located at 295 Crescent Allan Black Street in Shawville.

Participants will learn more about effective communication strategies, ways to make visits more positive, and how to adapt activities based on their loved ones’ abilities. The session will be held in English.
