Impératif Français Reacts to remarks by Philippe Couillard
Impératif Français retorted remarks made by Primer Philippe Couillard and Minister Jean-Marc Fournier who expressed concern about the survival of the English-speaking minority in Quebec. Impératif français targeted the Pontiac to illustrate their arguments.
In a recent press release issued, Impératif Français stated that in several municipalities within the Pontiac region, English-speaking citizens practice unilingualism creating an atmosphere of rejection and exclusion. They used the municipality of Shawville as an example, whose web site, is not available in French. Impératif Français claims to have called up the municipality and says that receptionist was unable to understand some basic and common sentences in French.
