Home voting is offered to voters who are unable to travel

Voters whose health limits their ability to travel will be able to vote from home in the upcoming provincial elections. To benefit from this service, they must apply by September 21st, 2026.

An Elections Quebec team can visit the voter’s home or the home of their caregiver to allow them to exercise their right to vote. The service is also available in several healthcare facilities.

According to Elections Quebec, voters do not need to provide medical proof. They simply need to declare that their health prevents them from traveling.

Those concerned are therefore encouraged to express their interest before the deadline so they can vote under conditions adapted to their situation.
