High-Speed Internet: “It’s one of my electoral promises and our priority” -Jane Toller

The Warden of the MRC Pontiac, Jane Toller, is delighted with the implementation of the project announced Monday by Connexion Fibre Picanoc regarding accessibility to High-Speed Internet in the Pontiac.

In an interview with CHIP 101.9, she declared that providing several municipalities and residences of the MRC Pontiac with fiber optics is one of her electoral promises:

The project, which could reach $ 57.5 million, plans to deploy nearly 3,000 km of fiber, connect 6,788 residences, including 5,369 subsidized residences, distributed in more than 35 municipalities, which may include the Aboriginal community of Kitigan Zibi. Jane Toller thanked the general manager of the Pontiac MRC Bernard Roy who also acts as president and volunteer of Connexion Fiber Picanoc.
