Head-on collision in Municipality of Pontiac sends one to hospital

A two-vehicle collision on Hwy. 148 in the Municipality of Pontiac last night (August 16) sent one person to hospital with non-life-threatening injuries.

According to MRC des Collines Police, at around 7 p.m. Wednesday evening, a pickup truck pulling a trailer collided head-on with a car near the intersection with chemin Pilon in Luskville. The driver of the pickup, a 35 year-old man from Pontiac was uninjured and the driver of the car, a 20 year-0ld man from Bryson, was sent to the hospital with non-life-threatening injuries. Police are still investigating the cause of the collision, but said that fatigue may have played a factor.
