Hauts-Bois-de-l’Outaouais School Service Centre Encourages Parents to Use “Learning Together”
As the new school year approaches, the Hauts-Bois-de-l’Outaouais School Service Centre has informed parents that the TA Institute, in partnership with Alloprof, has launched Learning Together (Apprendre Ensemble), a project designed to equip parents to better support their child’s learning at home, complementing the work done at school. Created for children with learning disabilities, Learning Together is also intended for all students facing academic challenges.
What is Learning Together?

-
120 free activities already available online;
-
5 primary school sequences focused on reading and writing;
-
Available in both French and English;
-
Developed by special education and speech-language professionals from the TA Institute;

Coming soon: over 400 new activities covering mathematics, vocabulary, digital tools, and content for secondary students.
The CSSHBO emphasizes that parents play a key role in their child’s academic success. On a daily basis, they can apply strategies and activities that develop essential learning skills. These teaching resources are free, straightforward, and practical, making them easy to integrate into family life and accessible to all families.
“Your role is crucial in ensuring these resources reach the families who need them most. By introducing Learning Together to your teaching and support staff, you empower them to guide parents toward the sequences best suited to their child’s needs,” stated the CSSHBO.
