Government reverses decision, pharmacies will once again receive $17 per patient vaccinated against COVID-19
The government has reversed its decision to reduce the amount allocated to pharmacies for the vaccination against COVID-19. Some pharmacies, like Familiprix Marc Aufranc had told CHIP 101.9 that they would not be able to continue offering COVID-19 vaccinations after the government reduced its contribution by $5 for each patient. This decision was reversed and the awarded amount of approximately $17 is once again in effect.
Vaccination against COVID-19 should therefore take place again in the coming days in local pharmacies. More details to come on this subject.
