Gabriel Lance leaves the MRC Pontiac
Last night at its monthly meeting, the MRC Pontiac announced the departure of Gabriel Lance, the deputy director, after more than nine years or service with the organization.
Bernard Roy, the current director of the MRC, said that Gabriel Lance would have known three different Wardens and served under two general managers during his time. He has, over the years, piloted several important projects of the MRC, according to Bernard Roy, such as the establishment of a paperless council and the management of the leases of resorts. Bernard Roy added that Gabriel Lance has embodied stability in a municipal organization that is changing rapidly.
The departure of Gabriel Lance was however expected and planned, and according to the MRC announcement, the young management team will quickly resume its files and responsibilities.
