Free Workshops Titled “Youth and Money” for Young People Aged 8 to 17

A series of free workshops titled “Youth and Money” is being offered to young people aged 8 to 17 at the Campbell’s Bay Youth Centre. The program aims to teach the basics of financial management in a simple, fun, and age-appropriate way.

Workshop Dates:

• Wednesday, October 22, 2025, from 6:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m.

• Wednesday, October 29, 2025, from 6:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m.

The workshops are designed to promote good financial habits among youth while enhancing their financial literacy, a key component of long-term independence. Topics include saving, spending wisely, and understanding the value of money. The sessions focus not only on economics but also on building confidence and making informed decisions from an early age.
