21 October 2025 à 12:20 pm

The Connexions Resource Centre, in collaboration with the Western Quebec Literacy Council (WQLC) and the CISSSO, is organizing a free workshop titled “Living Well at Home: Services, Safety, and Support” on October 28, aimed at the 55+ community.

The event will take place from 9:30 a.m. to noon at 48 rue de l’Église and aims to inform seniors about the resources available to help them live independently and safely at home. Shelley Heaphy, responsible for Community Engagement and Outreach for the MRC du Pontiac, provides all the details:

Participants will have the opportunity to attend an information session led by two special guests: Alina Holmes from the WQLC and Anne Mageau, a social worker with the CISSSO.

The workshop, offered in English, will encourage interaction among seniors in a friendly atmosphere, with refreshments provided.

For more information about the resources available, residents are encouraged to consult their website
