Free Easter buffet at the Spruceholme Inn for people who are alone on Easter weekend

Residents who will be alone or feeling lonely over the Easter long weekend are invited to a buffet at the Spruceholme Inn on Monday, April 21st. Organizer Jane Toller held a similar event at Christmas, which was attended by around 60 people. She has decided to repeat the event.

A live band will be on hand to entertain. The dinner is free and starts at 4:30 pm. Those interested are asked to reserve their place as soon as possible by calling 819-683-5635.

Jane Toller explains that this evening is aimed at lonely people, but that you don’t have to live alone to feel lonely, so it’s open to everyone. She’s hoping to be able to repeat the Christmas event once again and explained that it’s important for the community to show solidarity.

Transportation is also available for those who need it.
