Flags at half mast in honour of Guy Lafleur
Several Quebec flags were at half mast yesterday in the Pontiac to mark Guy Lafleur’s state funeral. The Municipality of Fort-Coulonge as well as the offices of the Sûreté du Québec in Campbell’s Bay honoured the hockey player from the Outaouais, who notably wore the colors of the Montreal Canadiens (with whom he won five Stanley Cups), and the Quebec Nordiques. Lafleur died on April 22 of lung cancer at the age of 70.
