Fishing tournament in support of a youth exchange trip between La Pêche and France

A fishing tournament will be held this Saturday, February 1st in the Lac-des-Loups sector of the municipality of La Pêche in order to raise funds for a youth exchange trip between La Pêche and the town of Roquebrune-sur-Argens, in France. The main organizer, Martin Paradis, gave more details on the event.

The tournament will be held on Lac Halverson between noon and 3 p.m. Registration will start at 10 a.m. at the Lac-des-Loups Golden Age Club, located at 275 Pontbriand Road. Parking will be available at the community center and a shuttle service will be in place to move participants.

Note that fishermen will need to provide their own equipment for the day. However, the holes will already be in place when they arrive. The full interview with Martin Paradis can be found in both French and English.

Price: $ 100 for a hole (1 ticket = 1 hole)
