Festival Hall in Pembroke closes until April 4th
Due to the rising concern related to COVID-19 and the meseasure implemented by the Quebec government, Festival Hall in Pembroke announced its closure today until April 4th. According to the press release, this is as a safety precaution for the health and safety of its visitors, artists, staff and volunteers. As a result, festival hall will be cancelling in person Box Office hours and all performances and events until April 4th, 2020.
Festival Hall is also taking the following measures effective immediately and continuing until April 4, 2020, such as sanitizing all public spaces including door handles, handrails and other surfaces. All staff and volonteers are being asked to stay home at this time.
“We are confident that performances April 4 and beyond will move forward. To date, none of our promoters or performers have cancelled their performances after April 4. In the event that these events are postponed or cancellation, we will be issuing notices regularly on Facebook and on our website, www.festhall.ca.” – Rick Wharton, director of Festival Hall.
In the event of future cancellations or postponements, Festival Hall will be asking ticket buyers to be patient and has assured that they will taken care of. In the meantime, there will be no refunds issued for any tickets purchased, as per their policy. Note, thus far Festival hall has not been affected by any cancellations.
