Farm Credit Canada (FCC) presented a check for $ 1000 to Onslow Elementary School in Quyon to support its school nutrition program.

“No child should go to school on an empty stomach,” said Michael Hoffort, President and CEO of FCC. “That’s why every year we join with our industry partners to tackle the problem of hunger in schools and raise funds and donations for Canada food banks. ”

As part of FCC’s campaign against hunger, trucks will travel across Canada to different communities and collect food and cash donations for the food banks. Since 2004, the program has provided more than 50 million meals.

Every year since 2004, FCC has been collecting food as part of FCC’s annual campaign against hunger, which supports local food banks and anti-hunger programs.
