Father engagement and work–family balance: a webinar to rethink workplace practices

A free webinar will soon explore issues related to father engagement and work–family balance in the workplace. The event will take place on Thursday, June 18th, 2026, from 12 p.m. to 1 p.m.

According to a survey by the Regroupement pour la Valorisation de la Paternité (RVP), four out of ten fathers believe that work–family balance measures are still more accessible to mothers than to fathers. This finding raises important questions about equity in workplace practices and the role organizations play in the evolution of family models.

Presented by Concilivi, the webinar will bring together several speakers, including Corinne Vachon Croteau, Executive Director of the Réseau pour un Québec Famille (RPQF); Raymond Villeneuve, Executive Director of the RVP; and Francis Létourneau, Co‑President of Protech Construction.

Discussions will focus on co‑parenting and its impacts in the workplace, organizational barriers that limit father involvement, practices that support better work–family balance, and the role of managers in shaping evolving parental norms.
