Extraordinary meeting of the MRC Pontiac this Wednesday

3 February 2021 à 12:00 am

An extraordinary meeting of the MRC Pontiac will take place this evening (Wednesday February 3) at 6:30 p.m. According to the convocation, it is indicated that the council of mayors of the MRC Pontiac will be held in order to take into consideration the discussions and explanations related to the subjects of the Bioparc, the Biomass valuation center and the Biorefinery. These subjects also refer to the Resolution entitled Support for the Bio-Parc project. According to the MRC Pontiac, Warden Jane Toller says she is using her veto to put this point back on the agenda.

In order to comply with the directives issued by public health and the authorities, elected officials will participate in the session virtually by videoconference/telephone. Audio and video recordings will be published following the session.

The Warden of the MRC Pontiac, Jane Toller, has already made known her reservations concerning the Bioparc project, while the mayor of L’Isle-aux-Allumettes, Winston Sunstrum, insists that the projects of the Bioparc and the Biomass valuation center remain a priority .
