Emergency services called after Mansfield man attempts to cut hydro poles

Emergency services, including the Sûreté du Québec and the fire department, had to intervene on Monday, October 16, following an incident on rue Lauzon in Mansfield-et-Pontefract. A man apparently attempted to fell two hydro poles. Emergency services were called to the scene around 4:30 p.m. and police were able to intervene with the individual. The suspect was arrested and may face mischief charges.
