Education : “The minister’s press conference was not reassuring” -Daniel Boisjoli
The Syndicat du personnel de l’enseignement des Hautes-Rivières (SPEHR), which includes members from the Hauts-Bois-de-l’Outaouais School Board, reacted to the scenario adopted for gradual return to school, presented this week by the Quebec government.
SPEHR president, Daniel Boisjoli, believes there are still many questions to be clarified. He hopes that members will get more answers, especially regarding security.
“The teachers look foward to see their students again, but we have to make sure it is done safely. Let us also remember that public health has kept a margin of maneuver to back off if necessary, or to make the necessary adjustments “- Daniel Boisjoli, president of SPEHR.
M. Boisjoli est aussi revenu sur la conférence de presse du ministre Jean-François Roberge, qui a annoncé le retour en classe. Il croit que celui-ci aurait dû donner davantage de détails sur les mesures.
Mr. Boisjoli also spoke about the press conference of Minister Jean-François Roberge, who announced the return to class. He believes that he should have given more details on the measures.
In a press release, the union says it will ensure that the answers to members’ questions are given before returning to class, since “safety is paramount and non-negotiable”.
