11 August 2022 à 12:00 am

At around 12:15 a.m. this morning (August 11), Sûreté du Québec officers from the MRC Pontiac detachment pulled over a vehicle on Hwy. 148 near the intersection with Sand Bay Road for a traffic infraction.

Police discovered drugs in the vehicle and arrested the driver, a 27-year-old man from Campbell’s Bay. They seized more than 40 grams of cocaine, more than 100 methamphetamine tablets, equipment used for narcotic sales and more than $1,000 in cash. The man was released and is expected back in court at a later date where he could face drug trafficking charges.
