L’EntourElle is inviting the Pontiac community to its annual fundraising event; the Duck Races on September 8th. For the occasion, CHIP’s Elizabeth Séguin recently spoke with L’EntourElle’s community worker, Vanessa Chabot, who gave a few details about the event.

Last year, the first edition of the Duck Races had about 750 entries and raised funds towards the revitalization of the play structures at the shelter. That project has since been accomplished. The next race will raise funds to be able to enhance the services offered to L’EntourElles’ Clientele. Vanessa Chabot explains.

To participate in the fundraiser, you can purchase tickets for the event. The cost is $5 per duck and $7 for a cane and duckling. There will also be prizes for the winners of the race (duck and duckling), as well as door prizes.

Once again, the 2019 L’EntourElle Duck Races will be held on September 8th, at 1pm. To find out more, visit their Facebook page.
