Denise Giroux is currently the only candidate for the NDP nomination in Pontiac riding

The federal NDP inaugural meeting in Pontiac will be held on July 23rd at the Wakefield Community Center. Denise Giroux, a labour relations officer and long-time advocate for the NDP Parti in the region, thus far, is the only candidate that has been nominated in the Pontiac. Giroux said that she wants to campaign on the environment, public and universal drug insurance, and tax justice. Note that the federal elections will take place in October.
