Denis Rozon believes he will be able to host the World Dog Racing Championship this fall
The Bristol Dryland dog racing event is hoping to host the World Championship in the fall of 2021. The initiator of the project, Denis Rozon, still hopes to welcome runners from all over the world.
“The international organization, which surrounds this sport and major events, will support me throughout the year and a final decision will be taken next July”, explains Denis Rozon.
Denis Rozon specifies that he must welcome runners from at least three different continents as was the case in 2015.
“In 2015, I had North Americans, Europeans, Australians and South Americans. If I do not manage to attract them, it will be canceled ”, thinks Denis Rozon. Despite everything, he remains hopeful and believes that the vaccination will perhaps fix the situation.
Despite his optimism, for his dog sledding business, Denis Rozon has seen a significant decrease in his clientele in recent months.
“2020 is a year to forget and customers are just starting to come back, except that the season will end soon,” says Denis Rozon.
