Denis Rossignol becomes the new Director General of the CSHBO

Denis Rossignol, the principal of the Petits Pont Elementary school, was appointed Director General of the Hauts-Bois-de-l’Outaouais School Board, monday night, during a special Council of Commissioners meeting. As indicated by the Council, Rossignol’s appointment was ”a unanimous recommendation by the selection committee.” His appointment is scheduled for June 29th, 2019.

The new DG has been working in the field of education for more than 28 years, holding various positions including as a teacher and as the principal of ESSC and Établissement des Petits Ponts.

“His leadership qualities, his people skills and his knowledge of the education community/system give him an excellent profile to assume the new responsibilities entrusted to him. Mr. Rossignol is a versatile, rigorous and organized person. He has a deep concern to establish and develop a partnership between the school, the family and the community in carrying out the mission of our school board,” said a press release issued by the CSHBO on Tuesday morning.

The former CSHBO DG, Fernand Paré, announced his retirement on April 24th, and will retire on June 28th. He joined the CSHBO in August 2017.
