Death of Dr. Wilbert Keon; the passing of a friend

Dr. Wilbert Joseph Keon originally from Sheenboro, died on Sunday, April 7th, at the age of 83. Keon founded the University of Ottawa Heart Institute on may 11th, 1976. CHIP 101.9 had a chance to talk to Pierre Bédard, a long time friend and colleague:

He is considered a pioneer in the field medicine for having an international reputation in surgery, and having performed around 10,000 open-heart surgeries in his career and being the First Doctor in the Country to performe a heart trasplant.
