Davidson Sawmill; deadline extended to February according to Bruno Saint-Cyr
According to Bruno Saint-Cyr of the Davidson industrial site, the deadline for getting the required $2 million missing to go ahead with a cogeneration project to restart the Davidson sawmill has been postponed until February 28th. In an article recently published on CHIP, St-Cyr mentioned that he had to find this amount before January 31th, but that he was confident to be able to push deadline with his partner until February.
Bruno St-Cyr said that the only factor missing from moving forward with this project is a sum of $2 million. That amount would then, according to him, provide funding for a project estimated at more than $60 million. The sawmill has been inactive for about ten years.
