The president of the Syndicat du personnel de l’enseignement des Hautes Rivières, Daniel Boisjoli replied to Minister of Education and Higher Education Jean-François Roberge following an interview with CHIP 101.9.
Asked last week about Bill 40 (An Act to amend the Education Act principally about school governance and organization), Education Minister Jean-François Roberge rejected the union’s argument concerning the fear that some schools will be empty because of the new arrangement of the law. Here is an excerpt from the minister’s response.

In an interview with CHIP 101.9, Daniel Boisjoli mentioned that he would like to see the school elections maintained and not abolished as provided for in the bill. Despite the unpopularity of school elections, Daniel Boisjoli offers other solutions.
